The Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club is an RYA-accredited Training Centre and delivers RYA courses and qualifications. The RYA qualifications framework is internationally recognised and viewed as the leading qualifications in recreational sailing.

As an RYA Training Centre we are inspected annually to make sure that the quality of our tuition remains high.

​

We run a range of courses through the season in dinghies, keelboats and powerboats for both adults and children

Personal equipment required for Dinghy Courses

​

Wetsuit boots/trainers (to get wet)

Rash-vest/thermal top

Waterproof jacket

Wetsuit (can be provided if necessary – please state on booking form)

Buoyancy aid (can be provided if necessary)

Warm hat

Gloves (optional)

Packed lunch, drink and snacks

Dry clothes, towel and bag for wet clothes.

 

Personal equipment required for Keelboat/Powerboat courses

Wellies, wetsuit boots or trainers (to get wet)

Warm clothes

Waterproof jacket

Waterproof trousers

Life jacket (can be provided if necessary)

Warm hat

Gloves (optional)

Packed lunch, drink and snacks

Spare clothes and towel.
