The RNCYC is proud to add a St Ayles Coastal Rowing Skiff to the club fleet.
Built to professional standards in 2019, the club obtained the Skiff thanks to a legacy in October 2020.
This acquisition reflects a return to RNCYC coastal rowing which can be traced back to the 1850's.

Following the inaugural 2021 Season the coastal rowing season is looking forward to restarting rowing from the 13th March 22. Rowing sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings (times dependant on tides).

Last year saw several highlights including our first regatta at Greenock in which we medalled.

This year will see the rowers in action starting with a Loch Awe invitational Regatta at the end of April and participation in several other events during the summer.

It is hoped that the RNCYC will be able to host a sprint event this year on the 17th / 18th September

All members are welcome to come and enjoy the exercise and fun that coastal rowing brings on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings.
